Job Summary
Develop and manage a comprehensive school counseling program addressing academic, career, and social/emotional needs through direct services, individual and group counseling, and preventive interventions. Implement the American School Counselor Association standards by consulting with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to interpret data and assist in educational placement. Evaluate program effectiveness through annual audits and collaborate with school staff to develop policies that support student and staff development. Communicate program goals to education stakeholders and adhere to ethical standards and state guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- N.C. An Educator License in School Counseling
- Master's degree in school counseling from an accredited college or university
- Master's degree in equivalent field with add-on school counseling licensure
- Completion of school counseling internship
