Job Summary
School Counselor (11-month) position located in Green Cove Springs, FL. Requires a Florida school counseling certificate (or eligibility) and a master’s degree with a graduate major in guidance/school counseling or counseling. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and organizational skills and effective communication with others. Involves comprehensive background screening including Level 2 checks, fingerprinting, and AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse processes. Full-time role with duties related to student guidance and counseling in the instructional environment.
Required Qualifications
- Holds or be eligible for a Florida Department of Education certificate in school counseling as specified in Administrative Rule 6A.4.0181
- A master’s or higher degree with a graduate major in guidance and counseling or school counseling or a master’s or higher degree with a graduate major in counseling
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to communicate and work well with others
