Job Summary
Lead implementation of the Full-Service Community Schools initiative at the assigned site, coordinating academic, social, and health services through partnerships between schools, local educational agencies, and community-based organizations. Facilitate the school-level advisory board to engage stakeholders in identifying needs and monitoring progress, while delivering extended learning opportunities and structured postsecondary readiness services including college advising and scholarship guidance. Coordinate and deliver high-quality family engagement programming to equip families to support student success, utilizing data sources to identify priority students and adjust interventions as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of services and grant data in compliance with federal reporting requirements. This is a year-round, onsite role requiring Monday through Friday attendance, with occasional early morning, evening, or weekend hours to support events and training.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in education, community engagement or related field
- Experience in human services
- Experience coordinating multifaceted programs
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with rural schools and rural communities
- Familiarity with the community school model
- Experience working in rural schools or communities
- Understanding of first generation, low-income youth and families
- A desire to develop innovative approaches to meet outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines and expectations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to students from diverse economic, social and cultural backgrounds
- Computer skills including data processing and financial spreadsheets
- Microsoft Office

- Successfully complete pre-employment background check
- Ability to work in a high energy office
- Ability to accurately communicate and exchange information with partners, stakeholders, and/or meeting participants
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer software programs
- Regular, reliable onsite attendance
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ET
- This is a 12-month, year-round position
- Infrequent travel may be required to support business and program operations, including meetings, trainings, conferences, and other organizational events
- Travel may be local, regional, or national and may include occasional overnight stays, depending on business needs
- Ability to travel to meetings off-site
