Job Summary
Lead implementation of the Full-Service Community Schools initiative at the assigned school site, aligning with the comprehensive program plan, MTSS framework, and federal grant requirements. Facilitate the school-level advisory board to engage stakeholders in identifying needs and monitoring progress. Coordinate and deliver integrated academic, behavioral, social-emotional, health, and postsecondary supports through direct services, mentoring, and referrals. Manage extended learning opportunities, including after-school and summer programming, while overseeing community partnerships to ensure alignment with grant objectives. Use Early Warning indicators and data sources to identify priority students, implement interventions, and maintain accurate documentation for federal reporting. This year-round, onsite role requires Monday through Friday attendance and occasional weekend work to support events and program needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in education, community engagement or related field
- Experience in human services
- Experience coordinating multifaceted programs
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with rural schools and rural communities
- Familiarity with the community school model
- Experience working in rural schools or communities
- Understanding of first generation, low-income youth and families
- A desire to develop innovative approaches to meet outcomes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines and expectations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to students from diverse economic, social and cultural backgrounds
- Computer skills including data processing and financial spreadsheets
- Access to reliable transportation
- Successfully complete pre-employment background check
- Ability to accurately communicate and exchange information with partners, stakeholders, and/or meeting participants
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer software programs
- Ability to travel to meetings off-site
- Regular, reliable onsite attendance
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ET
- This is a 12-month, year-round position
- This position may occasionally require work during the early morning, evening, or weekend hours
- Infrequent travel may be required to support business and program operations, including meetings, trainings, conferences, and other organizational events
- Travel may be local, regional, or national and may include occasional overnight stays
