Job Summary
School Cook at Anthony site responsible for preparing high volumes of food on-site in batches per planned menus and schedules, following recipes, maintaining quality and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and nutrition regulations, and managing sanitation and equipment upkeep. Requires ability to read recipes, season, marinate, and taste foods; verify item quality and quantities against orders; adhere to safety and health standards (including USDA, state, and OSHA guidelines); and collaborate effectively with coworkers and clients. Must have a High School diploma and two years of experience in large-scale food preparation, and obtain Minnesota Food Manager Certificate within one year of hire. Responsibilities include inventory control, batch cooking, and ensuring program compliance with nutrition requirements.
