Job Summary
Prepare and serve food in accordance with daily menus and recipe standards while ensuring food safety compliance. Coordinate with team members to complete prep on time, maintain a clean working environment, and keep areas stocked and organized. Perform additional duties as assigned, including climbing stairs and lifting 50 lbs. Must adhere to the time and attendance policy and be willing to learn USDA National School Lunch Program requirements. This role offers opportunities to advance culinary skills within a supportive team dedicated to enhancing students' minds, bodies, and happiness through wholesome meals.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of line cook or culinary experience
- Willingness to learn the compliance requirements of the USDA National School Lunch Program
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness
- Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy
- Able to climb stairs and lift up 50 lbs
