Job Summary
Professional liaison between the school district and community; plans parent advisory council meetings, assists in planning staff development workshops, acts as teacher-parent liaison in referrals to community resources; administers testing programs, schedules tests, and prepares evaluation packets for grants; maintains logs of home visits and parent outreach; maintains tutoring folders; must be bilingual in English and Spanish and able to read and write in both languages. Strong knowledge of elementary reading instruction, community resources, and ability to organize meetings, communicate effectively, and manage records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree with 2 years of work experience OR High school diploma with 4 years of work experience OR equivalent combination
