Job Summary
Provide nursing services in a school clinic during the absence of the assigned school nurse. Conduct health assessments, administer medications per physician orders and school health protocols, respond to illnesses/injuries and medical emergencies, maintain accurate documentation, protect confidentiality under FERPA, and communicate with school administrators and district nursing leadership while following CCSD policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Education: ADN or BSN from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted RN license (Georgia or Nurse Licensure Compact)
- Current CPR certification
- Fingerprint-based background check
- Completion of CCSD substitute orientation and required training
