Job Summary
The School Clinic Substitute Medical Assistant provides on-site clinical and administrative support in a Cobb County school clinic, assisting with student intake, vital signs, and basic health needs under district nursing leadership. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, supervising or supporting medication administration per district protocols, maintaining accurate documentation on CCSD forms, supporting infection control, clinic organization, and upholding student confidentiality. Requires a valid Medical Assistant credential or certification and current CPR, plus fingerprint clearance and completion of CCSD clinic substitute orientation. This is an as-needed, temporary contract position in a school setting.
Required Qualifications
