Job Summary
Conduct before-school pickups and afternoon drop-offs as a part-time School Bus Monitor, utilizing a split shift with guaranteed four hours per school day. Manage student safety and comfort during transportation, with additional hours available through trips and charters. No prior experience required; training provided. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license for three years, and pass DOT drug testing. This role supports First Student's mission to safely transport over five million students daily.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Must be able to work a split shift (early morning before-school pickup and after-school drop-off)
- Must be available for a guaranteed shift of 4 hours per school day
- Must be available for weekend shifts if desired
- Must be willing to work additional hours gained through trips and charters when available
- Must pass DOT drug testing
- Must agree to a drug-free workplace
