Job Summary
Assist the bus driver in providing a safe journey by helping students board and exit, ensuring they remain seated and follow safety rules, and communicating to maintain a calm ride. Provide care and encouragement to students, including assisting children with special needs during transport. Work flexible split shifts on weekdays only with a guaranteed five hours per school day. Hourly rate ranges from $18.50 to $19.50, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match. Advance into operational, maintenance, management, and leadership roles across over 540 locations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM)
- Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures
- Friendly, reliable, and patient working with children
- Team-oriented with a focus on safety
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
