School Bus Monitor

Maintain a reasonable level of good behavior by children on the bus, minivan, van, or car. Effectively enforce school bus safety rules by ensuring students remain in their seats, do not harm themselves or others, and do not eat on the bus. Recognize dangerous situations affecting child safety and report them to the bus driver immediately. After each school run, assist the driver in performing a spot inspection to confirm all children are off the bus. Assist with buckling children and safety equipment per safety laws, evacuate children during emergencies, and assist the driver with directions based on a pre-determined route sheet. Part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week with weekend and holiday breaks.
