Job Summary
Help students board, depart, and arrive safely at their destination while maintaining a secure environment for the driver to focus on driving. Greet students pleasantly, assist as needed, and perform child checks at the conclusion of every tour. Securely fasten children in seats and kneel to fasten wheelchair restraints as required. Always maintain a safe environment on the bus and perform other assigned duties. This part-time role includes kneeling, bending, and ascending stairs. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to kneel and fasten wheelchair restraints
- Must be able to bend and stoop as needed to assist with various tasks
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs of school bus
- Must be able to fasten children securely in seats
- Must be able to perform other related tasks as required
- Must be available for nights, weekends, holidays and/or some random schedule
- Must be able to stand on feet all day
