Job Summary
Operate a school bus on assigned routes with a focus on safety and reliability. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, transport students (including those with disabilities) securely and on time, maintain order on board, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies. Provide excellent customer service, assist with wheelchair lifts and passenger needs, communicate with dispatch via two-way radio, report maintenance needs and hazardous conditions, and attend safety trainings and meetings. Free CDL training is available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Free CDL training is available for qualified candidates
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, including a DOT medical card and DOT drug screening
- No convictions for driving while license is suspended or revoked
- Availability to work varying shifts; assignments based on seniority
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and professional conduct
