Job Summary
Operate a school bus on assigned routes to transport students safely; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; assist passengers with disabilities during boarding, riding, and exiting; maintain order and safety on the bus; comply with federal, state, and local laws and company policies; communicate with dispatch via two-way radio; adapt to changing conditions such as weather and route changes; attend safety trainings and mandatory meetings. Free CDL training is available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, including a DOT medical card and DOT drug screening
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- No convictions for driving while license is suspended or revoked
- Availability to work varying shifts; assignments based on seniority
