School Bus Driver

Job Summary
Operate a school bus on a part-time schedule (approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon) to transport students to and from school, with time off during July and August. Maintain safety and customer service standards, demonstrate reliable punctuality, navigate effectively, communicate with dispatch, and complete required checks and training. Requires a valid driver’s license, background checks, and a safe driving record; S-endorsement preferred and wheelchair experience is a plus. Training and professional development opportunities are available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- S-endorsement preferred
- Wheelchair experience will be considered an asset
- Clear criminal background check with VSS search
- Clear driver’s abstract
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience
- Must have a safe driving record
- Organized, punctual and reliable
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Navigation skills
