Job Summary
As an Illinois Central School Bus Driver, you will transport children and other passengers to and from school, operate vehicles safely following regulations, ensure student safety, attend safety meetings, and assist students getting on and off the bus. The role offers starting pay of $25 per hour (hourly), free CDL training with no experience required, flexible hours with no nights or weekends, time off during school holidays, paid holidays, 401(k) company match, and a 4-hour per day guarantee when school is in session, with summer routes available. Responsibilities include safety operations and compliance with Unit 7 School District guidelines; the team emphasizes safety, customer service, and community focus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test, background check and physical examination.
