Job Summary
Safely operate assigned vehicles while conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting issues promptly. Maintain routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality to ensure passenger safety in a positive environment. Drive with Zūm, a team reimagining the future of student transportation using our technology platform. This role requires a minimum of 21 years of age and a valid driver's license or CDL with P and S endorsements. Compensation includes guaranteed daily hours, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits, with nights, weekends, holidays, and summers off. Non-certified drivers receive CDL training provided.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and any state-required certifications
- Valid driver's license with 3+ years of driving experience
- Willing to obtain a CDL and meet state and federal requirements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Ability to work split shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for working with children
