Job Summary
Operate assigned school buses safely while conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any issues immediately. Maintain routes and schedules with professionalism, manage student behavior to ensure passenger safety, and follow all company policies and regulatory requirements. Work split shifts daily, including nights, weekends, holidays, and summers, while leveraging Zūm's innovative technology platform. Earn competitive daily wages with guaranteed hours and receive comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits. CDL training is provided for non-certified drivers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 25 years
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid CDL with P and S endorsements + 5 years experience
- Valid driver's license with 5+ years experience
- Willing to obtain and able to meet all state and federal requirements for CDL
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for working with children
