Job Summary
Safely operate assigned vehicles, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain routes with punctuality while creating a positive environment for students. Report any vehicle issues promptly and adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements. Work split shifts with guaranteed daily hours and earn competitive compensation. Zūm provides CDL training for non-certified drivers and offers modern, technology-equipped buses.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and CA School Bus certificate (DL45)
- Valid driver's license with 3+ years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Ability to work split shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for working with children
Desired Qualifications
- Willing to obtain a CDL and meet state and federal requirements, with training provided
