Job Summary
Safely operate assigned vehicles while conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting issues promptly. Maintain routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality to ensure passenger safety in a positive environment. Create a safe, positive environment for students and ensure passenger safety. Work split shifts with guaranteed daily hours and receive CDL training if needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and CA School Bus certificate (DL45)
- Valid driver's license with 3+ years of driving experience
- Willing to obtain a CDL and meet state and federal requirements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Ability to work split shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for working with children
