Job Summary
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, safely operate assigned buses, and maintain routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality. Create a safe, positive environment for students by ensuring passenger safety while following company policies and regulatory requirements. Perform duties on split shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and summers off, with guaranteed daily hours. Obtain a CDL with P and S endorsements and a CA School Bus certificate if required, or gain experience with training provided. Drive modern, safe, air-conditioned buses equipped with Zūm technology.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and CA School Bus certificate (DL45)
- Valid driver's license with 3+ years of driving experience
- Willing to obtain a CDL and meet state and federal requirements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Ability to work split shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for working with children
