Job Summary
Drive morning and afternoon school bus routes Monday through Friday, transporting students safely to and from school and activities. Supervise boarding and unloading, assist students with mobility aids, and maintain order on the bus. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and emergency exits, reporting mechanical issues promptly while keeping the vehicle clean and sanitary. Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards, communicating with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding student behavior or delays. Perform 4 hours of guaranteed minimum work per day with no nights, weekends, or holidays required.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Full G license for at least 1 year
- Valid Commercial License
- History driving with ride share companies or taxi services
- Previous experience as a teacher, commercial driver, social worker, classroom assistant, hospitality worker, or customer service or retail associate
