Job Summary
Pick up and transport students safely to and from school, supervising boarding, unloading, and seatbelt usage while maintaining order on the bus. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and emergency exits, reporting mechanical issues promptly and keeping the vehicle clean and sanitary. Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards while communicating with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding student behavior or delays. This part-time role offers split shifts on weekdays only, with guaranteed minimum hours and training provided for a CLP and CDL.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Valid Class B License
- History driving with ride share companies or taxi services
- Previous experience as a teacher, CDL driver, social worker, classroom assistant, hospitality worker, or customer service or retail associate
- Are looking for a part-time schedule and summers off
- Subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee
- DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason
