Job Summary
Part-time School Bus Driver responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and activities, with AM/PM routes and potential for field trips. Training provided for CLP/CDL; sign-on bonus offered. Responsibilities include supervising boarding/unloading, assisting students with seat belts and mobility aids, conducting pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintaining order on the bus, and communicating with parents and dispatch. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
- DOT drug testing required for safety-sensitive position
- Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training provided
- Excellent safety and customer service orientation
- Ability to supervise boarding and unloading and assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids
- Ability to communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Ability to work part-time with weekday routes and no nights/weekends/holidays
