Job Summary
Drive morning and afternoon school bus routes Monday through Friday, transporting students safely to and from school and activities. Supervise boarding and unloading at stops, assist students with seatbelts and mobility aids, and maintain order on the bus. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and emergency exits; report mechanical issues promptly and keep the vehicle clean and sanitary. Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards while communicating with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding student behavior or delays. Work a part-time schedule with guaranteed minimum hours, summers off, and no nights, weekends, or holidays required.
Required Qualifications
- Are at least 21 years old
- Have a full Class 5 license for at least 1 year
- Valid Commercial License
- History driving with ride share companies or taxi services
- Previous experience as a teacher, commercial driver, social worker, classroom assistant, hospitality worker, or customer service or retail associate
