Job Summary
Pick up students in the morning and transport them safely back home in the afternoon, with additional hours available for field trips and special events. Supervise boarding and unloading, assist students with mobility aids, and maintain order on the bus. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and emergency exits, reporting mechanical issues promptly. Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards while communicating with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding student behavior or delays. This part-time role offers split shifts on weekdays only, with guaranteed minimum hours and comprehensive CLP and CDL training provided.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Valid Class B License
- History driving with ride share companies or taxi services
- Previous experience as a teacher, CDL driver, social worker, classroom assistant, hospitality worker, or customer service or retail associate
- Part-time schedule and summers off
- Are looking for a part-time schedule and summers off
- Subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee
- DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason
- Subject to drug and alcohol testing, including cannabis
