Job Summary
Pick up and transport students to and from school and activities while supervising boarding, unloading, and seatbelt use. Maintain order on the bus, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, and tires, and report mechanical issues promptly. Keep the vehicle clean and sanitary, obey all traffic laws, and communicate with parents and dispatch regarding student behavior or delays. Split shifts cover weekdays only, with guaranteed minimum hours of 20 per week. Commercial Learner's Permit and CDL training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- Valid Class B License
- History driving with ride share companies or taxi services
- Previous experience as a teacher, CDL driver, social worker, classroom assistant, hospitality worker, or customer service or retail associate
- Are looking for a part-time schedule and summers off
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
