Job Summary
Safely operate assigned vehicles while conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting any issues. Maintain routes and schedules with professionalism, manage student behavior to ensure passenger safety, and follow all company policies and regulatory requirements. Work split shifts daily (AM/PM) with guaranteed hours. Valid CDL with P and S endorsements required for certified drivers; training provided for non-certified candidates. Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 21 years
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL with P and S endorsements
- Additional certifications required by your state for legal school bus operation
- Valid driver's license
- 3+ years experience
- Willingness to obtain CDL
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks
- Ability to pass drug screenings
- Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for working with children
