Job Summary
Operate assigned school buses safely while following all company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any issues. Maintain and follow routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality. Create a safe, positive environment by managing student behavior and ensuring all passengers' safety. Work split shifts (AM/PM) daily with guaranteed hours. Minimum age 21; valid CDL with P and S endorsements required for certified drivers, or 3+ years experience for non-certified drivers with training provided. Modern fleet equipped with proprietary technology.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 21 years
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL with P and S endorsements + additional certifications required by your state for legal school bus operation
- Valid driver's license with 3+ years experience
- Willingness to obtain CDL (training provided for non-certified)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for working with children
