Job Summary
Operate the district's school buses while ensuring the safety of transported students and supporting successful, efficient FCSD operations. Maintain a Commercial Driver's License with air brake, passenger, and "S" endorsements, and successfully complete a DOT physical as required by the State of Iowa. Participate in the district's drug and alcohol testing program, including pre-employment screening, and complete all required training to fulfill licensure. Interact positively with students, support staff, district employees, and community members while making sound decisions. Earn $1,500 sign-on bonus and work at $100–$109 per day.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Commercial Driver's License with air brake, passenger and "S" endorsements
- Participate in the district's drug and alcohol testing program including a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to positively interact with students, support staff, district employees and community members
- Ability to make sound decisions
- Successfully complete a DOT physical as per required by the State of Iowa
- Complete required training to fulfill licensure
