School Bus Dispatcher

Coordinate and schedule bus routes to ensure timely student transportation; assign drivers, make substitutions, monitor radio communications, and provide real-time dispatch support. Adjust routes for traffic/weather emergencies, maintain route/change records, assist with payroll, respond to inquiries from parents and school staff, collaborate with administrators, ensure safety/compliance with policies, train new drivers, use dispatch software and GPS to monitor bus locations, document incidents, and fill in as a school bus driver when needed. Requires CDL with S and P endorsements, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication, math, and multitasking abilities.
