Job Summary
Dispatch responsibilities include coordinating school bus and paratransit routes, monitoring real-time coverage and call-outs, logging communications, and maintaining schedules and operational records. Requires providing friendly, professional customer service to parents, school district personnel, drivers, monitors, and the public; using phones, two-way radios, email, and dispatch software; and ensuring continuity of service. Must be able to stay calm under pressure, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and work independently or with a team. CDL is required within six months of hire. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or customer service preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation software is expected.
Required Qualifications

- One (1) year of transportation, dispatch, logistics, or customer service experience preferred
- Must acquire CDL within six months of hire
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn transportation software
