Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing service excellence while supervising the transportation of student passengers and ensuring their safety. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle, completing daily timesheets and incident forms, transporting students, loading and securing wheelchairs, and communicating with parents and schools. Skills required include critical thinking, judgment, service orientation, and effective communication. The role demands physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting, along with a clean criminal record and CPR/First Aid certification.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Valid government issued photo identification card
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Current and clean criminal abstract (obtained annually)
- Negative TB test result (obtained every 2 years for skin test and every year for chest x-ray)
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Capable of adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and telling time
