Job Summary
Conduct initial, reassessment, and functional behavior assessments to individualize treatment plans for students. Oversee a team of Registered Behavior Therapists by ensuring treatment implementation fidelity and supporting job satisfaction. Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers to collect data, produce outcome reports, and train parents or teachers. Uphold BACB ethics code while utilizing trauma-informed practices to promote client independence. Provide high-quality supervision to RBTs and lead treatment recommendations with autonomy over goals and supervision schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Tennessee State License as a Behavior Analyst from the Health-Related Board
- Possesses strong organization skills
- Possesses a positive attitude
- Possesses the belief that all children can reach their fullest potential with the right support
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of up to 30-50 lbs
- Significant mobility, including the ability to stand up quickly from the ground and move rapidly to assist clients as needed
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching to safely support clients during therapy sessions or manage interfering behaviors effectively
- Fine finger dexterity for tasks such as writing, typing, and using therapeutic tools
- Ability to manage situations involving individuals who display physically aggressive, self-abusive, or socially undesirable behaviors safely and effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Special Education (preferred) or another related field
