Year 10 students undertake a School-based Traineeship in Plumbing at a Reece branch in Chatswood (NSW). Working towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations, the role combines on-the-job training with workbook requirements. Key responsibilities include Customer Service, completing certificate requirements, processing sales, stock management, answering the phone, communicating with customers and staff, building product knowledge, providing follow-up to customers, and contributing to maintaining the branch at a high standard. Schedule is equivalent to 1.5 days per week with Saturday availability; additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended.
