Job Summary
Provide therapy to clients in a school setting while maintaining good clinical judgment. Formulate diagnoses upon intake assessment, create and update treatment plans, and complete timely clinical documentation. Deliver individual, family, and group therapy services based on clinical needs in virtual or face-to-face formats. Respond to supervisory communication regarding urgent care situations and inform administrative supervisors of potential program impacts. This 10-month full-time role at Cascade High School, Elementary, and Middle School requires a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, along with valid driver's license eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a specialization in MH Counseling
- License-eligible in respective discipline
- Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework (for applicants with a Master's in a related field)
- Relevant coursework in Clinical treatment and treatment planning
- Relevant coursework in Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
- Relevant coursework in Psychopathology
- Relevant coursework in Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
- Experience in Clinical treatment and treatment planning
- Experience in Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
- Experience in Psychopathology
- Experience in Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
- Clinical experience (fulfillable through clinical practicums or internships completed as part of a master's degree program)
- Valid driver's license
- Eligibility requirements to be covered under the organization's vehicle insurance policy
