Job Summary
School-Based Therapist provides healing-centered individual, group, and family therapy within a K-5 school setting, conducts case management for school-referred students, and collaborates with caregivers, teachers, counselors, and school leadership. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, risk screening, assessment, triage, service linkage, and coaching to school staff around student needs; comprehensive data collection and documentation to measure service effectiveness; and maintaining effective communication with families and external programs. The role operates in a transdisciplinary team, requires licensure eligibility in WA, and supports ongoing supervision and licensure pathways, with relocation assistance potentially available and an on-site work arrangement at the Tukwila, WA location.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
- Current licensure or eligibility to register as LMFT, LICSW, LMFTA, LSWAIC or LMHC in accordance with the Washington State Department of Health requirements
- Experience working with youth in a mental health or education setting (strongly preferred)
- Reliable transportation to and from the school site and other occasional meeting locations
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
