Job Summary
Provide individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, and transportation while coordinating and monitoring external mental health, medical, and educational resources. Conduct safety assessments, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization to ensure youth stability, then regularly review and modify youth-based plans to track progress against written goals. Deliver advocacy and support to youth, families, and community partners, actively participating in weekly supervision and monthly quality improvement activities. Complete all required documentation and training on time while maintaining strong relationships with served persons and system partners.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution
- Valid and current LGSW, LICSW or LPC Licensure in the state of WV
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Good driving record
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,00/$300,000 bodily injury liability
- Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours
- Capacity to be flexible and responsive to youth served, foster caregivers, system partners, and internal customers
- Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function
- Demonstrates tolerance and respect for the ideas and actions of others
- Capacity to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs

- 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families
