Job Summary
Provide therapy to clients in a school setting while maintaining good clinical judgment. Formulate diagnoses upon completion of intake assessments, create and update treatment plans according to policy, and deliver services based on clinical needs and diagnosis. Complete timely clinical documentation and respond to supervisory communication regarding urgent care situations or other clinical needs in virtual or face-to-face settings. Keep administrative supervisors informed of potential issues impacting the program or organization. Demonstrate good clinical judgment in client care and utilize computer/electronic equipment and software. Maintain a valid driver's license and meet eligibility requirements for vehicle insurance coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a specialization in MH Counseling
- License-eligible in respective discipline
- Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework (for applicants with a Master's in a related field)
- Relevant coursework in Clinical treatment and treatment planning
- Relevant coursework in Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
- Relevant coursework in Psychopathology
- Relevant coursework in Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
- Experience in Clinical treatment and treatment planning
- Experience in Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
- Experience in Psychopathology
- Experience in Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
- Clinical experience (fulfillable through clinical practicums or internships completed as part of a master's degree program)
- Valid driver's license
- Eligibility to be covered under the organization's vehicle insurance policy
