Job Summary
Provide therapy to children in elementary age settings within McMinn County Schools while maintaining good clinical judgment. Formulate diagnoses following intake assessments, create and update treatment plans per policy, and complete timely clinical documentation. Respond to supervisory communication regarding urgent care situations and clinical needs in both virtual and face-to-face environments. Keep administrative supervisors informed of potential program or organizational impacts. Utilize electronic equipment and software for all duties. Requires a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy with valid licensure eligibility. Full-time position with a salary range of $42,300 to $46,700.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a specialization in MH Counseling
- License-eligible in respective discipline
- Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework (for applicants with a Master's in a related field)
- Relevant coursework and work experience in Clinical treatment and treatment planning
- Relevant coursework and work experience in Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
- Relevant coursework and work experience in Psychopathology
- Relevant coursework and work experience in Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
- Clinical experience (fulfillable through clinical practicums or internships completed as part of a master's degree program)
- Valid driver's license
- Eligibility requirements to be covered under the organization's vehicle insurance policy
