Job Summary
Provide therapy to clients in a school setting while maintaining good clinical judgment. Formulate diagnoses upon intake assessment completion, create and update treatment plans per policy, and deliver services based on clinical needs and diagnosis. Respond to supervisory communication regarding urgent care situations in virtual or face-to-face settings, keeping the administrative supervisor informed of all potential program or organizational issues. Complete timely clinical documentation and demonstrate good clinical judgment in client care. Utilize computer/electronic equipment and software effectively. Requires a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, MH Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy with clinical experience, plus a valid driver's license. Starting salary range $42,300 - $46,700. Full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a specialization in MH Counseling
- License-eligible in respective discipline
- Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework (for applicants with a Master's in a related field)
- Relevant coursework in Clinical treatment and treatment planning
- Relevant coursework in Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
- Relevant coursework in Psychopathology
- Relevant coursework in Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
- Experience in Clinical treatment and treatment planning
- Experience in Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
- Experience in Psychopathology
- Experience in Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
- Clinical experience (fulfillable through clinical practicums or internships completed as part of a master's degree program)
- Valid driver's license
- Eligibility to be covered under the organization's vehicle insurance policy
