Job Summary
School Based Therapist providing behavioral health services in a School Based Health Clinic, coordinating with school partners, and developing treatment plans using DSM/ICD criteria. Conduct psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and families, update plans quarterly using measurement-based care, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents. Maintain compliant clinical records and participate in quality improvement activities. Requires active independent licensure in Iowa as LISW, LMHC, or LMFT prior to employment, with at least one year of full-time relevant experience; school-based experience preferred. Mon-Fri 8:00 AM–3:30 PM during school terms, with a 12-month schedule option and summers off (unpaid). E-Verify participation noted.
Required Qualifications
- Active independent licensure or ability to obtain independent licensure in the state of Iowa as an LISW, LMHC, or LMFT prior to employment.
- One year of full-time work-related experience in agency and/or medical clinic service delivery (counseling, case management, outreach, prevention/education, etc.)
