Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based interventions to improve articulation, fluency, and language skills while collaborating with educators, parents, and school teams to support student participation. Monitor progress, adapt treatment plans, and offer guidance to families on strategies for carryover into the classroom. Maintain accurate records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities. This travel role offers relocation and travel packages with potential to transition to a traditional capacity if desired.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Alaskan State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Alaskan Educator Licensure or willing to obtain
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Dedication to providing culturally competent and client-centered care

Desired Qualifications

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) unless a CF
  • Experience in private practice or outpatient settings preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and documentation practices is a plus
