Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based interventions to improve articulation, fluency, and language skills while collaborating with educators and parents to support classroom participation. Monitor student progress, adapt treatment plans, and maintain accurate records including billing documentation. Participate in IEP meetings and professional development, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Offer guidance to families and staff on strategies for carryover into the classroom.

Required Qualifications

  • SLP FL State licensure
  • ASHA certification
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • FL State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) unless a CF
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in private practice or outpatient settings preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and documentation practices is a plus
  • Dedication to providing culturally competent and client-centered care
