Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based interventions to improve students' articulation, fluency, and language skills while collaborating with educators, parents, and school teams to support classroom participation. Monitor student progress, adapt treatment plans, and offer guidance to families on strategies for carryover. Maintain accurate records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing documentation, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities. This in-person role supports students from pre-K through high school at Strides Therapy & Educational Services, a woman-owned local provider dedicated to enhancing educational experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Colorado SLP License or willing to obtain a Colorado Board of Education License (Teaching License) or willing to obtain
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Colorado Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Colorado Educator Certificate
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) unless a CF
  • Experience in private practice or outpatient settings
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and documentation practices
