Job Summary
Conduct evaluation, diagnosis, and recommendation for therapeutic intervention for individuals with communication disorders in an educational setting. Implement Speech-Language Pathology instruction to teach, habilitate, or rehabilitate communicatively impaired students. Collaborate with classroom teachers, OTs, PTs, and audiologists to determine prognosis and appropriate treatment plans. Submit written reports on evaluations, educational plans, and progress while maintaining paperwork within legal and agency guidelines. Make appropriate referrals to affect positive therapeutic results and communicate regularly with families. Maintain SLP licensure, TSSLD certification, and ongoing professional development through in-service programs and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
