Job Summary
Patrols school buildings, grounds, and hallways; enforces district rules relating to order and safety; makes contact with and directs all personnel and students; assists in stopping fights, resolving conflicts, and investigating incidents; maintains written records of critical events; communicates effectively with students, staff, and the public; provides security for after-hours events; requires passing a written and physical test and may obtain Private Security Officer certification; must have a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent; position is a 9-month contract with benefits and non-exempt status; duties include monitoring, safety, and security responsibilities within the school environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be willing to submit to and pass a drug test
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a written and physical test
- Must be able to obtain certification as a Private Security Officer through the State of Arkansas
