Job Summary
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Provide counseling and interventions to support students' emotional and mental health needs while participating in multidisciplinary teams to address academic and behavioral challenges. Offer consultation and training to school personnel on strategies to improve learning environments and promote positive mental health through prevention programs and crisis intervention. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Required Qualifications
- Current Maryland School Psychologist License or eligibility to obtain one through MSDE
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from a NASP-approved/accredited program
- Valid MD state license or state department of education certification (as needed) as a School Psychologist
- Educator Certificate (if applicable)
- Strong skills in psychological testing, counseling, and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing needs

- Prefer knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations
