Job Summary
School-Based Psychiatrist needed for PRO Pediatric Services to conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations of students referred for mental health concerns in a K-12 population. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and school staff; providing crisis intervention during acute mental health crises; offering consultation to teachers, administrators, and other school personnel; participating in multidisciplinary team meetings; maintaining accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with legal/ethical standards; educating students, families, and staff about mental health topics and resources; and staying informed about current research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry. This is a part-time role located in Williamsport, PA, supporting school-based mental health within an outpatient program for the 2026-2027 school year. Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in psychiatry from an accredited institution
- Valid PA medical license to practice psychiatry
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or educational setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be comfortable using a computer
- Must be able to complete documentation to school district standards
- Current clearances (within 6 months)
